Beverly Heights is a historical neighbourhood, also known as Olde Town Beverly. The mature neighbourhood is scattered with an abundance of old trees and older homes. A fun fact about the Beverly Heights neighbourhood is that it was once built on a coal mine. It was incorporated as a village in 1913, became a town in 1914 and amalgamated with the City of Edmonton in 1961.
