Outdoor Resident Family Visits

With the weather getting colder, effective Wednesday October 7, 2020, we will  move all outdoor social visits into Heritage Hall. Your visit time and day will remain the same, however to maintain required social distancing and accommodate all families, only two visitors can attend along with the resident. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us and let us know. You can call Meagan at 780-904-2739

COVID-19 Precautions at St. Michael’s

As of July 29, 2020, visiting access was revised for both indoor and outdoor visits based on Order 29-2020 issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health.  As indicated in the Order however, it is critical that all public health safety measures continue to be implemented and observed by all persons to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The care and safety of our residents and staff are our top priority and St. Michael’s staff have been working hard to keep our residents safe and healthy. We do not have any cases of COVID-19 and to help reduce the spread of illness, all staff, those with essential services and designated family support persons are being screened upon entry. Anyone who presents signs of illness will be sent home. We actively monitor and screen our residents to determine if they are showing any of the COVID-19 symptoms. The health, safety and well-being of our residents and staff is our top priority at St. Michael’s Health Group. We are following the lead of Alberta Health, AHS and the Chief Medical Officer at this important time. All appropriate measures are being taken to ensure our sites are safe and we will maintain these additional protocols as long as necessary.

Please visit our website regularly as we will continue to provide updates as they occur. Thank you for your support and help protecting all our residents.
