The health, safety, and well-being of our residents and staff is our top priority at St. Michael’s Health Group. We are following the lead of Alberta Health, AHS, and the Chief Medical Officer at this important time. All appropriate measures are being taken to ensure our sites are safe and we will maintain these additional protocols as long as necessary.
St. Michael’s staff have been working hard to keep our residents safe and healthy. The increased precautions were accepted in stride as they all are putting in maximum effort to care for residents and ease the worry of families.
We are actively monitoring and screening our residents to determine if they are showing any of the COVID-19 related symptoms.
Currently we have implemented new visitation guidelines effective January 5, 2022. At this time, only Four (4) Designated Family Support Persons (DFSP) will be able to visit.
We are screening all staff and essential workers who enter our sites as per the guidelines provided by Alberta Health Services.
Moving forward, we will continue to share information and provide updates as available. Check back to this website regularly.
We appreciate your understanding and for adhering to our COVID-19 visiting policies.
Please continue to follow all local Public Health directives, get your vaccination and continue to practice hand hygiene, masking, and social distancing.
