Grove Manor is a Supportive Living facility located in Spruce Grove where seniors live independently with supportive services available as required.
Opportunity
The Independent Living Assistant is responsible for a variety of resident services, such as;
- reminds/assists Residents to take prepared medication
- provides personal care services
- provides housekeeping services
- assists with meal service
- participates in recreational programs and activities
Skills
- flexible and dependable
- sensitive to the physical, social, spiritual, and psychological effects of aging
- experience in housekeeping, and/or meal service
- experience in working with seniors is preferred
- prior experience as a caregiver would be an asset.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is preferred
- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution is required
- Enrolment in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
