The health, safety, and well-being of our residents and staff are our top priority at St. Michael’s Health Group. We are following the lead of Alberta Health, AHS, and the Chief Medical Officer at this important time. All appropriate measures are being taken to ensure our sites are safe and we will maintain these additional protocols as long as necessary.

COVID-19 Outbreak Notification – December 19, 2024
We are still experiencing COVID-19 outbreak status on the entire 1st floor and 2nd floor of the Long-Term Care Centre.
Three residents on the 2nd floor and one resident on the 1st-floor Blue Pod are on isolation precautions.
If your loved one has been affected you have already been contacted.
Our potential lift date is December 31, should no new cases arise.
Low-risk group activities will continue.
Hairdresser appointments will continue for residents who are not in isolation.
We recommend postponing visitation for the duration of the outbreak.
We require continuous masking and eye protection on the 1st-floor and 2nd-floor Blue Pod.
If external service providers visit your family member, please inform them of the outbreak and PPE requirements.
If you are visiting a resident in isolation, please note, that full PPE will be necessary.
We encourage everyone to practice frequent handwashing to help contain the outbreak quickly.
