St. Michael’s Long Term Care is currently recruiting for Nursing Attendants – Temporary Part-Time (Floater Position); Evenings: 3:00pm-9:00pm; 20.40 hours per week; 0.52FTE (17 shifts). The Nursing Attendant performs a variety of basic nursing and personal care duties under the guidance of the Case Manager/Staff Nurse Designated in Charge/LPN. Observes and reports changes in Residents’ conditions, behavior and participation in activities. Accurately charts pertinent information in accordance with established procedures. Candidates will require HCA certification. Must be enrolled in the HCA Directory. Previous experience in a long term care setting, home care, medical unit, psychiatric unit (dementia) would be an asset. Good interpersonal skills with disabled and/or the elderly are required.
